Rough Magic Hamsters

I have had Mastiffs for over 10 years. I lost my 2 oldest Mastiffs, Callie and Remo in late 2006 and early 2007, leaving Rowan and Hermione still at home. I recently brought home our first Vizsla in about 20 years, Mouschi. Dogs are a big part of our lives, but quite separate from our hamsters!
Nicewander's RMagic Mouschi Rio was born 4/17/06, and came home with us in June. His name, "Mouschi", was contributed by my son, who read "The Diary of Anne Franke" in school and found the name in that book! Mouschi and I are learning clicker training together, and hope to do agility in the future. Update: Mouschi's favorite person turned out to be my son; their favorite pasttime, playing ball in the front yard with Mouschi barking all the while. Sadly, we lost Mouschi the end of February 2009. And we dearly miss him. Mouschi 9/2006, age 5 months:
Hermione and Rowan are best buddies. Rowan is 7 and Hermione is 5 [as of 2006], and both have been spayed due to their not passing OFA hips. We are waiting for Mouschi to get a bit older so we can incorporate him into "the pack". Update: We lost Rowan in December 2008, one month short of her 10th birthday. Shortly thereafter we lost Mouschi, the Vizsla, so Hermione [shown below, on the left] is missing her canine buddies.
